There’s no better opportunity to try Shrimp & Grits for the first time than when visiting Charleston, South Carolina.
We stopped into Tommy Condon’s Irish Pub. While the Fish & Chips and the Shepherd’s Pie were tempting (I was in an Irish Pub after all), I absolutely had to try the Shrimp & Grits. And I’m glad I did. The dish was amazing! The shrimp were cooked to perfection. The grits and the parmesan gravy blended together perfectly along with the ham, tomatoes and green onions.
