Who is Intrepid Kate?
My name is Kate Dillon.
I have always loved traveling. It may have started when I was a kid in Iowa. My dad was a race car driver who raced as far north as Minnesota, west to Nebraska, to down south in Florida.
I then graduated high school and spent 5 years on the road as a traveling salesman. I've been to every state in the Continental US with the exception of the states north of New York.
After college, I went to work for an architectural firm in Idaho where we had projects in most of the western states, and of course, I traveled to see them.
Our Story
Now I run a website (https://crateinsider.com/) where I sell race car parts. I also teach others about ecommerce at https://ecommcoach.com/ And I'm still traveling. Sometimes it's for racing related events or marketing events, but I also love to travel for fun. In between, I like having mini-adventures where I live in western North Carolina.
